Body Worn Video Steering Group

About Us

The Body Worn Video Steering Group (BWVSG) is an End User focused community which aims to facilitate networking and learning to help organisations maximise the benefits of body worn video by sharing information, ideas and best practices.

This is achieved through a series of hosted networking events and the free publication and distribution of resources.

The events take place every year with the inaugural meeting taking place in January 2013. It was hosted by Sussex Constabulary at Slaugham Manor – their training and conference centre.

Each event has a non commercial agenda and seeks to connect, involve and educate its members.

Our vision is to:

  • Bring together organisations experienced in deploying and using Body Worn Video technology so that a code of best practice can be developed and shared with others.
  • To provide a central library of information, a forum for debate, a group of experienced people willing to help others.
  • To promote the use of Body Worn Video
  • To design the future of Body Worn Video

We are always welcoming new members to the BWVSG and if you are interested in joining or contributing to the group, please contact:
