The upcoming BWVSG meeting will address present and future issues concerning the use of Body Worn Video.

The agenda includes:

Alasdair Field (CEO Reveal Media – sponsor of BWVSG)
Welcome and introduction to BWVSG

Steve Goodier – Hampshire Police.
Overview of Hampshire’s BWV program. Operation Hyperion (personal issue project). Addressing the problem that BWV highlights deficiencies in officer training.

Paul Kinsella – British APCO and West Mercia Police
The erosion of officer evidence – will officer’s testimonials become less credible without a camera?

Patricia Rich – Project Manager of the biggest BWV project in Europe – Staffordshire Police
Talking about the burden of BWV on a force in terms of training, policy and storage, and granting access to various stakeholders in a more efficient manner

Steve Goodier – National Policing Lead on Guidance and Legal Advice  
Discussing the national overview, including legal guidance and the Police Innovation Fund.
